1. Where do I go to find my case number to make payments?

a.    Top of your Payment Plan Extension Agreement

• Use the smart search to search your name or case number. If you have a common name, multiple people will populate. Use the date of birth listed and/or address listed to select the record that belongs to you. 
• Select the case number that you need to check the balance on. 
• Scroll down to the “Financial” section. 
• “Total Financial Assessment” minus “Total Payments and Credits” equals your remaining balance.

2. Can I use my smart phone to make the credit/debit card payment?

NO, the website payments MUST be done on a desktop computer or laptop.

TO MAKE ONLINE PAYMENTS

• Go to the Brazos County Website. www.brazoscountytx.gov 
• Hover over “Government”, then hover over “Collections”, then click on “Online Payments”. 
• 
• If you are paying for a County or District Court case, you will scroll down past the red box that says, “***ATTENTION***”. Scroll all the way down to the bottom and click on “ACCEPT” to make a payment. 
  • County and District cases will end in 85, 272, 361, CCL1 or CCL2

3. What payments are accepted?

Third party vendor JetPay and debit/credit cards that are accepted, VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS, THIS FEE IS 2.0%.

4. Is this the correct place for all written citations? NO

a.    Read the citation paperwork, given to you by the Officer.

5. How can I get a warrant recalled?

Pay a one-time $500 warrant recall and resume on your payment plan. You may never miss again or the warrant will go out and not be recalled again.

6. Can I setup a payment plan over the phone?

No, you must come into the office in person.

7. Can I call the Collections office to MAKE MY PAYMENT?

NO, but you may follow the instructions listed below to know how to make a payment with the Telephone system.

Payments can be made via phone with a credit/debit card using the phone numbers listed below. If you are making a credit card payment via phone, please pay close attention to your case number and call the correct payment number.

8. Can payment plans be setup without dispositions or judgments?

No, you must have paperwork signed by the judge’s office before coming into Brazos County Collections Department.

9. How do I get my address changed for the Courts and Collections?

Go to the District Clerk tab and click on forms, and scroll all the way to the bottom and print and mail your address change into the District Clerk or Court.
