[ARCHIVED] Bette Preneveau

Bette Preneveau was selected as Brazos County's "Employee of the Month" for June 2010. Bette serves in our Psychology / Counseling unit as one of our counselors. Bette completed the County Extension office’s program “Walk Across Texas” as a community service program in April 2010. Bette submitted an application for the BACKPACK summer food program through the FOOD BANK which will start in June, 2010.

Bette has been involved in providing Life skills training at the Academy, providing training for our mentors and volunteers, providing parent training ( even working one on one with parents that could not make it to a class). Bette has supervised numerous interns, most recently an intern from A&M in the Social Workers program. She looks for programs that benefit our youth and brings them to the attention of our department to serve our youth. Bette tirelessly works to assist the youth we serve and makes the Brazos County Juvenile Services Department a greater service to the community.

Merits: Bette was previously selected as our Support Services "Employee of the Year" for 2008.

Bio: Bette began employment with Brazos County Juvenile Services in November 1999. Bette has an earned MSW in Clinical Social Work from Barry University in Miami Shores Florida and a B.A. in Psychology from Marymount college in Tarrytown New York.
