[ARCHIVED] Leonard Robinson

Leonard (Coach) Robinson, was selected as our Brazos County Juvenile Services "Employee of the Month" for August, 2009. Mr. Robinson serves as a Shift Manager in our Juvenile Detention Center. On July 30,2009 we had to evacuate or Detention Center residents to another County due to a nearby chemical plant explosion that posed a significant danger.

Anytime an evacuation occurs, it is a very significant event, and the chance for something to go wrong gets magnified. However, due in large part to Mr. Robinsons calm leadership, the evacuation and subsequent return to the facility the next day, occurred without incident. Mr. Robinsion did an outstanding job of managing the residents ensuring that they remained calm, orderly, and secure during the incident. Great job Leonard.
