Mr. JG Wood was selected as our "Employee of the Month" for July 2009. JG is very deserving of the Employee of the Month Award. He has been in his position for 13 months and continues to display an outstanding work ethic. JG has developed an excellent understanding of daily job duties.
JG understands what is expected of him on a daily basis and can be counted on to use good judgment and follow department policy and procedures. JG always seems to have a positive attitude and a smile on his face. His supervisor, Todd McKey, appreciates the fact that he can ask JG to do any task and he will respond with a "yes sir" and will get the job done without asking questions or complaining. JG is a valuable member of the Field Unit and is always willing to help out his peers when called upon. Congratulations JG and thank you for your hard work!

Bio: JG graduated from Newton High School in Newton Texas. He later earned a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Sam Houston State University. JG has previous work experience that includes working as a Caseworker for Child Protective Services, and as a Teacher with the Huntsville Independent School District.
