Mr. Paul Morales was selected as our "Employee of the Month" for February, 2008. Paul is assigned to our Texas Youth Commission Parole Supervision Unit, and does an outstanding job of working with the youth and families he helps supervise. Paul does an extraordinary job of translating for Spanish speaking parents. There are times when Paul conducts up to 5 translations per day.
Paul is a valuable team member of our Juvenile Department's "Gang Unit." As such, Paul works with team members training and educating parents and others on the proper ways or recognizing and responding to gang issues in the community.
Paul always carries himself in a professional manner. Paul is kind and considerate of others. Paul has a deep concern for the welfare of the children and families he works with and works assiduously towards fulfilling the mission of this department. Paul, thanks for all you do.. You are truly deserving of special recognition for a job very well done.

Bio: Paul began employment with the Brazos County Juvenile Probation Department in March of 1996. Paul is the drummer and lead singer for the very popular and influential musical band "Tejas Sounds." Tejas Sounds band members write, record, and perform Christian Rhythm and Blues music with a Latin beat.
Paul also lends his superb musical talent and expertise to departmental functions. For instance, during the 2007 Employee Awards Ceremony, Paul volunteered to play drums for a musical group composed of juvenile department employees who performed for their peers at the awards ceremony.
Paul is married to the very lovely Martha Martinez. Paul takes fatherhood very seriously and they are the proud parents of three great children.
