Shatner Gooden was selected as our "Employee of the Month" for the month of July 2008. Shatner does an outstanding job working with children detained in our Detention Center. Shatner possesses exceptional counseling skills and easily builds positive rapport. Shatner always maintains a positive attitude and accepts all assignments without complaint. Shatner works very hard to encourage juveniles to make positive choices and he is an outstanding role-model.
He is extremely skilled as a Juvenile Detention Officer as he maintains safety and security at all times, ensures juveniles basic needs are met, and keeps serious incidents to a minimum. Great job, Shatner. Thanks for all you do.

Bio: Shatner was hired by Brazos County Juvenile Services in July of 1998. He has been with the department now for 10 years. Shatner graduated from A&M Consolidated High School in College Station Texas and attended Blinn College.
