[ARCHIVED] Caroline Padilla

Ms. Caroline Padilla was selected as our "Employee of the Month" for February, 2009. Ms. Padilla is an "Academy Instructor" who works with children at our Juvenile Justice alternative School (JJAEP). Ms. Padilla has shown herself to be a great team player. She is motivated to put forth 100% for the good of the team. She works well with her co-workers. She understands that what works with one child, may not work well with another, and is willing to make the necessary adjustments. She has also been instrumental in getting our new cognitive-based life-skill program entitled "Why Try Program" up and running. For all of this and more, we salute Ms. Padilla for her outstanding efforts.

Merits: In the past, Ms. Padilla has received praise from various staff members for a variety of accomplishments including her willingness to assist others as needed.

Bio: Ms. Padilla has been employed with Juvenile Services since June of 1999. She started off as a part-time officer and eventually was hired as a Full time Detention Officer where she served for 9 years. She transferred to the our Alternative School for Juveniles in May of 2008.

Ms. Padilla loves to work with children and is involved in outreach ministry at her church. She coaches little league in her spare time. She also spends a lot of her summers being a camp counselor for various church programs.

Ms. Padilla is a counseling major and is close to completing her Bachelors Degree. Once she completes her degree, her aspirations are to open a residential treatment facility for abused girls.

Caroline has been married to Noel Padilla for 10 years and she has a seven year old son Joshua.
