[ARCHIVED] Teresa Oglesbee

Ms. Teresa Oglesbee has been chosen as our Juvenile Services "Employee of the Month" for September, 2008. Teresa is a Counselor who works with both juveniles and their families. Teresa is a very positive person who does an outstanding job of building rapport with the clients she serves. Teresa demonstrated a deep concern for her clients by soliciting school supplies from the "stuff the bus" program, ensuring that needy children in the juvenile justice system would have adequate school supplies to begin the new school year.

Teresa serves as our "After-Care" Counselor and, together with the After-Care Probation Officer, works on properly preparing the home environment for the return of a juvenile into the home after being away for an extended period of time at a court ordered residential treatment center. As such, Teresa does a great job of helping parents develop proper communication skills, parenting supervision skills, and she helps them learn to develop age-appropriate boundaries with their children. She has made a huge difference in many of the lives of the clients she serves. Great job Teresa for making such a positive difference and for giving hope to families where previously little or no hope existed.
