Disaster Declaration Issued for Brazos County

Brazos County, TX – Brazos County Judge Duane Peters has signed a disaster declaration for the county due to severe drought conditions.  This declaration will assist in accessing state resources, if needed, to alleviate emergency situations caused by the drought.  Such situations could include, but are not limited to, potential damage to infrastructure or a need for agricultural relief. 

This emergency declaration can be extended by the commissioners court during the September 29, 2023 meeting.
