HONORING OUR VETERANS
College Station, Texas -- The Brazos Valley Veterans Memorial Board is accepting veterans' names through 15 August 2013, for placement on the Wall of Honor this year. The non-profit Memorial for All Veterans is a striking inspirational monument on 12 wooded acres in the Veterans Park Athletic Complex on Harvey Road (SH 30) about one mile east of the Earl Rudder Freeway (SH 6) in College Station.
The Wall of Honor includes names of thousands of veterans who have served our country in the Armed Forces. This is a rare opportunity to honor your beloved veteran, living or deceased, or currently serving, by placing his, or her, name on the Wall ofHonor. The Board asks for a $100 donation for each name to defer costs associated with the memorial. Names submitted by August 15th will be included in the program for the annual Veterans Day Dedication Ceremony on 11 November 2013. Email info@bvvm.org for an application form.
