[ARCHIVED] Carol Jackson

Ms. Carol Jackson has been selected as Brazos County Juvenile Services "Employee of the Month" for May, 2011. Carol servers as a Probation Officer assigned to our Residential Placement Unit. Carol has recently taken on extra responsibilities in her current position as a Placement Officer and Carol has supervised some of our more difficult cases with very unique situations. She has been working with one child in particular who has severe mental health needs, which has been a very time consuming task for Carol.

Despite the difficulties involved, Carol has done an outstanding job taking care of this child’s needs by contacting and soliciting the help of other agencies such as Child Protective Services, MHMR, and several Psychiatric Hospitals around the state.

Carol has also managed her regular caseload effectively and made herself readily available to assist with transports. Carol has recently been required to work longer hours than normal and yet she has done so without hesitation or complaint.

Carol consistently helps out her peers in any way needed. She is truly sincere about her job, and her performance shows it. The Placement Unit is very fortunate to have Carol , and we are thankful for all her hard work.
