Commissioner Chuck Konderla
Commissioner Konderla was born in Brazos County and has lived almost his entire life here. Chuck graduated Texas A&M University with a BS in Agricultural Economics. He married his childhood friend, Lori, in 1996, and they have seven children.
Chuck is a local business owner, a previous Bryan City Councilmember, and was appointed Commissioner in 2020 after the loss of Commissioner Sammy Catalena. Chuck was elected to the Commissioners Court in November of 2022.
Chuck enjoys time with family above all, and serves as an Assistant Scout Master, Assistant Cub Master, serves on the Board of The American Heritage Girls, and is an Eagle Scout. He has been actively involved in youth ministry for over thirty years. He serves as a Eucharistic Minister and Lector at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bryan, and he works with The St. Joseph Health Foundation. Chuck is active in The Brazos Valley Republican Party, The Chamber of Commerce, The Amber Alert Network of the Brazos Valley, The Children’s Museum of the Brazos Valley, The Bryan-Brazos EDF Board, and several other boards and organizations.
His professional resume weighs heavily in Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Device experience, as well as his award-winning jewelry design and manufacturing company.
Chuck is passionate about serving Brazos County, about bringing attention to local businesses and the community, and about recruiting business opportunities that contribute to our local economy.
