Our Public Hours have Changed:
The Brazos County Road and Bridge Office is now accesible to the Public during the following hours:
Monday - Thursday  7:30am - 5:00pm
Friday                     7:30am - 3:00pm
These hours may be affected by the county administrative approved holiday schedule

Brazos County Precinct 2 Collection Station has moved:
The new address is 12722 Copperhead Rd.
Copperhead Rd is off of FM 2038 about .20 miles south of SH 21. Hours of operation and acceptable materials have not changed.

New Fee Schedule
Pursuant to the revised Brazos County Subdivision Regulations adopted by the Brazos County Commissioners’ Court on July 5, 2016, effective March 1, 2017 fees will apply to certain applications and services of the County Engineer/Road and Bridge Department as noted in the Fee Schedule

Road Construction/Closures:
Brazos County Road and Bridge Department is working on or will soon begin the total reconstruction of several roads. As weather permits, road work will be on-going Monday through Thursday (possibly weekends) 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Motorists can expect delays and periodic intermittent or temporary road closures along with possible overnight closures in some locations. Please be cautious of work crews in the area. We appreciate your patience during the construction process. Please call 979-822-2127 if more information is required (leave a message if there is no answer).
    Dilly Shaw Tap from FM 2776 to Wixon Valley

    Smetana Rd. from SH 21 to the railroad tracks

    Cherokee Dr. off of SH 6 frontage road

    Drake Dr. at the intersection of FM 2154 will begin construction of a new train horn quiet zone.
