Commissioner Lloyd Wassermann
Commissioner Wassermann was born in Rosebud, Texas and graduated from Rosebud High School; received a B.S. Degree from Texas A&M University and a Masters of Education from Lamar University.

Commissioner Wassermann began his teaching career at Mexia I.S.D. in 1958 as a classroom teacher and coach; he was an Athletic Director and Head Football Coach for various school districts throughout Texas from 1966 to 1984. Commissioner Wassermann moved to Brazos County in 1984 and completed his educational career at Colleges Station I.S.D. as Athletic Director, Student Activities Director and Assistant Principal.

He and his wife, Betty, have been married for 57 years and have four children. Commissioner Wassermann was elected to the office of County Commissioner Precinct 1 in 2005 and continues to serve the citizens of Brazos County in that capacity to this day.  He currently serves as Chairman elect of the Brazos County Emergency Communications District (911), Chairman of the Intergovernmental Committee (IGC), and has served on the non-profit Keep Brazos Beautiful Board for ten (10) years.

Commissioner Wassermann also has Commissioners Court Board/Committee assignments as Facilities Services Liaison, Road & Bridge Liaison, Human Resources Liaison, and Capital Improvement Committee along with others.
