Information
Brazos County's Hotel Occupancy Tax (HOT) went into effect September 1, 2007, and the rate is 2% of the price paid for any room or space rented within Brazos County. Payment is due the last day of each month following the collection month and should be remitted in the form of a check or money order.

Payment
Payment must be accompanied by a copy of the Brazos County Report of Hotel Occupancy Tax and a copy of the Texas Hotel Occupancy Tax Report submitted to the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts.
