Commissioner Lloyd Wassermann
Commissioner Wassermann was born in Rosebud, Texas and graduated from Rosebud High School; received a B.S. Degree from Texas A&M University and a Masters of Education from Lamar University.

Commissioner Wassermann began his teaching career at Mexia I.S.D. in 1958 as teacher and coach; he was an athletic director and head football coach for various school districts around Texas. Commissioner Wassermann moved to Brazos County in 1984 and completed his educational career at Colleges Station I.S.D. as athletic director, student activity director and assistant high school principal.

He and his wife, Betty, have been married for 54 years and have four children. Commissioner Wassermann was elected to the office of County Commissioner Precinct 1 in 2005 and continues to serve the citizens of Brazos County in that capacity to this day.
