Demetrius has performed exceptionally well this past month. Her case plans are outstanding, her court testimony is excellent, and her ability to motivate children under her supervision has been very positive. Demetrius is always willing to assist her peers as needed and her high degree of professionalism shines for all to see. Great job Demetrius.

Title: Juvenile Probation Officer

Merits: Demetrius was selected as the Brazos County Juvenile Services "Probation Officer of the Year" for 2007.

Bio: Demetris graduated from Bryan High School and received a bachelors degree in criminology and corrections from Sam Houston State University. She is married to Mr. Norris McDaniel and has two very wonderful and talented children, Jay and Jaylah. Before beginning work for the Brazos County Juvenile Department, Demetris worked as a caseworker for the Texas Youth Commission, Scotty's House, and the Texas Department of Protective and Regulatory Services. She brought this wealth of experience to the juvenile department beginning in March of 2005.
