Serving Those Who Serve

Brazos County, TX – The Brazos County Emergency Services District No. 4 (ESD4) is looking for commissioners to serve on its board.

The board is made up of five commissioners who are appointed by the Brazos County Commissioners Court.  Members are appointed to a two-year term, with no term limits, and must live or own property within District 4.  The board meets once a month.

ESD4 serves 120 square miles of western Brazos County, in District 4.  It provides fire, rescue, and first response to medical situations through a contract with the Brazos County Precinct 4 Volunteer Fire Department.  ESDs are political subdivision of the state, similar to school districts or municipalities.
