Parole Services

Overview

Brazos County has a contract with the Texas Youth Commission (TYC) to provide parole services to the clients residing in Brazos County. Parolees are usually on supervision from the time they leave TYC until they turn 21.

Requirements

Parolees are required to attain a high school diploma or GED, to find and maintain gainful employment, and to obey all laws and conditions of Parole.

Staff

Brazos County has a parole supervisor, a surveillance aide, and a surveillance officer to track, monitor and supervise clients. At any given time, there are usually at least 20 clients on active parole.
